Brand, License and Third-Party Notices

Explains the Orylin™ brand, source licenses and ownership of infrastructure and standards.

Notice v1.1 · 2026-08-30

1. Orylin brand

The Orylin™ name, wordmark composition and two-end temporary-connection graphic are original brand assets for this project. The wordmark uses the self-hosted upright Bodoni Moda typeface under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Do not remove source identification, create confusion with an official branch, register misleading domains or use the mark to imply sponsorship, certification or security endorsement. Fair textual reference, commentary and compatibility statements are unaffected.

2. Source and content license

Except where law requires otherwise, source and brand assets without an express license remain all-rights-reserved; visibility is not permission to copy, modify, distribute, host or commercialize.

A license applies only to the versions and files it expressly covers. Third-party dependencies remain under their own licenses; the versions actually built are recorded in the pnpm lockfile and repository manifests.

3. Third parties and standards

Cloudflare, WebRTC, TypeScript, React, GSAP, Vite, Vitest, Playwright, Bodoni Moda, Fontsource, ZXing, QRCode, Scure and other names belong to their respective owners. Bodoni Moda is self-hosted and does not contact a third-party font service at runtime. QR generation, recognition, pairing words and interface animation run from pinned local dependencies and do not send content to a third-party API. Use of a technology or citation of a standard does not imply sponsorship, certification or audit of Orylin.

Orylin security and protocol documentation cites IETF, W3C and other standards sources. Standards conformance and independent security approval are distinct claims.
